Dean & Son, Ltd., London, 1973, 1st.  ISBN 0-603-07006-X.  Hard cover, 93 pages.  Boards show some edge and cover wear; corners and spine ends bumped with some wear; small splits at upper spine corners; a few tiny spots of soil; some rippling to paper on front cover.  Binding sound with all pages secure; outer page block tanned with some age spots.  No jacket.  Colour illustrated front and rear end papers and paste-downs; prior owner’s name neatly inked on front end paper; pencil erasure.  Ownership section opposite title page has not been filled in.  Book contains 2 pages ‘for you to paint’ which have been fairly neatly coloured, and one connect-the-dots page which has been completed; one small abrasion on pp. 40-41 from what appears to be pages separated from a small spot of glue.  No other marks are found on any pages.  Interior pages are lightly tanned with only a very occasional age spot; no tears.  Profusely illustrated with full range of colour and two-tone drawings by Attwell.
