Blue Ribbon, New York, 1926.  Hard cover, 852 pages.  Good; blue cloth with faded gilt lettering on spine.  Some mottling/spots on boards, corners bumped and worn with bits of board exposed, spine end bumped and worn with tiny tears to cloth; binding sound; no jacket.  Prior owner’s name on front end paper; remainder of interior clean and unmarked with lightly tanned pages.  Translated from the Second Russian Edition by Erik Law-Gisiko.  Four volumes complete in one volume with an introduction by William Gerhardi.  History of Russia from 1894 to World War I, followed by World War I and the first months of the Revolution up to the seizing of power by the Bolsheviks, followed by “The Martyrs” dealing with the Civil War, to life under the Bolsheviks.
