Knorr & Hirth, Munich and Ahrbeck/Hannover, 1969.  The Little Art Book.  Hard cover, 104 pages including Index.  Gray textured cloth with black lettering on front and spine; a bit of sunning along top board edges; binding sound with some foxing on top page block.  Dust jacket has a bit of edge and cover wear, age toning/sunning; some impressions and light creases.  Tape residue at lower front flap.  Prior owner’s name and date inked at top of FEP; tape residue on front and rear pastedowns and rear end paper.  Remainder of interior clean and unmarked; reproductions in colour.  ‘The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is above all famous for its collection of 17th-century Dutch paintings.  The names of Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Frans Hals immediately come into mind.  These great masters are represented here by some of their most renowned pictures together with many other major artists of the “golden age”.’ (from front flap)
