Binding sound with head and tail bands. Dust jacket has edge and cover wear, some creases and short tears at spine ends; age toning. Old water mark along bottom edge of jacket. Interior clean and unmarked; profusely illustrated with two-tone reproductions. ‘The drawings which embody the whole of Leonardo da Vinci’s research and deductions in the sphere of anatomy, with their accompanying manuscript commentaries, were compiled towards the end of his life in three manuscripts, representing some three hundred plates.
