Gundy, Toronto, 1916, believe 1^st Canadian edition thus.  Hard cover, 312 pages.  Red boards with gilt blocked title, and design on front board, black lettering on spine.  Some edge, corner and lower spine end wear, bit of a loss with some fraying at spine head.  Binding sound, age toning/spotting on outer page block.  No jacket.  Prior owner’s name and date (Jan 15, 1917) inked on FEP; remainder of interior clean and unmarked.  A collection of humorous stories, written in the early 20^th century, satirizing movies, cultural mores, politics, news and society in general.
