Willard Tract Depository, Toronto, no date, Sixth Edition.  Antiquarian book:  possible printing approximately 1900.  Containing ‘A Young Man’s Safeguard in the Perils of the Age’, by Rev. William Guest, F.G.S. and ‘A Young Man’s Difficulties with His Bible’, by Rev. D. W. Faunce, D.D.  Hard cover, 157 pages for first book including Appendices; 234 pages for second book.  Decorative brown boards, gilt on front board, rubbed and faded gilt on spine.  Boards show some soil and spots; corners lightly bumped with wear, lower front corner has a bit of board exposed; shelf wear; spine ends worn with losses at spine head; a bit of fraying at corners and spine.  Some foxing on outer page block.  Binding sound, although cracked at pp. 18 and 33 of second book, with all pages secure.  Brown end papers and paste-downs; prior owner’s name and city on FEP.  Interior clean and unmarked; some small fox spots, a few straightened corner bends; last blank page removed.  Lectures given to young men who were unsure of their religious beliefs in dealing with daily difficulties, and answers to questions about the Bible.
