Description

The Covenant Publishing Company, London, 1932, 1st.  Hard cover, 125 pages plus ads.  Blue cloth with gilt lettering on front; gilt lettering on sunned spine somewhat faded.  Corners bumped and worn with bits of board exposed; spine ends bumped and worn with small tears to cloth; edge wear.  Some spots on boards; very slight lean; binding cracked in spots with all pages secure.  Purchasing label affixed at lower front paste-down; prior owners’ names and dates inked on FEP.  Errata slip pasted on contents page with corrections neatly inked on corresponding pages.  Slight discoloration on pp. 94/5 from paper laid in.  Inked notes on rear end paper and paste-down.  Remainder of interior clean and unmarked.  Pages tanned with some foxing, mostly to a few first and last pages.  ‘British-Israel teaching has, for its supreme object, the proof of the inspiration and integrity of the Bible by historical research; particularly along the line of the past and present history of the Israel race.  Under the title of “The Servant Nation” I have endeavoured, in explaining this teaching, to relate the story of Israel in such a way as I think is most suitable for those not familiar with the subject; and hope it may help them to the truth, as the teaching has done for myself and a number of others.’ (from Preface)
