Self - Virden, Manitoba, 1978.  Lodge cookbook compiled and produced by members, measures 8.5” x 5.75” x .75”.  Two-hole punched sheets are bound by two metal rings with tape at opening teeth.  Illustrated coloured sheets separate cooking sections.  Front card cover has some creases, light soil/age toning/spotting.  Rear card shows a bit of soil/age spotting.  One recipe has two ingredients neatly inked in margin to be added to recipe and occasional word corrected in ink; remainder of interior clean and unmarked.  Contains history of Virden Lodge #220, Membership, Metric Conversion, Substitutions, Equivalents, Baking Substitutes, and recipes for Cookies and Dainties, Cakes and Loaves, Desserts and Pies, Breads and Muffins, Salads and Dressings, Super Dishes, Miscellaneous Recipes, and Banquet Amounts.
